The A's Won...I Think.

*Don't forget to enter my contest!!*

Went to the A's game yesterday.

I forgot my camera!

I'll wait until the booing stops.

I know, how could I? We had fabulous seats. It was a gorgeous day in the bay area. My Boy got to run the bases after the game!!

To boot, we each got a Bobble-Head of a newly-inducted-to-the-Hall-of-Famer Dick Williams! Cool.

I'm still kicking myself.

Great game. We won, I think.

My Boy and I were distracted by these.

And then these...

Oh and these were delish!

Then this guy came by with this in a HELMET...

And these...

These came in a RAINBOW of colors!

PRETZELS HERE! (My Boy flicked off every salt grain) I like mine with mustard.

Then I did get into the game, and a little distracted by HIM...

Oh and wha?! Seventh inning stretch already? Okay. (((((((((Stretch, Sing Take Me Out to the Ball Game)))))))))

Okay. Right, we did win. Beat the Rangers 6-5. Holla!

Ok, I think this post was about baseball, but I am not sure since I spent the last three minutes drooling over all the food you ate. Had I known they serve all this goodness, I would have gone to more baseball games!

Too funny! Did the food cost you more than the tickets? Just wondering....

So fun! I haven't been to a good baseball game in awhile. I love the foods, smells and sounds! And those guys look so great in their tight little pants! Mmmm!

I hate when I forget my camera.
    There is nothing more frustrating.
Maybe you can use your mad photoshopping skills and recreate the whole day! (LOL)

I am so envious. Not so much about the ball game, baseball bores me silly. But I envy you for all of the junk food that you got to eat. Especially the cotton candy and the pretzel. Delicious!

Had I been at the game I would have missed everything up until the 7th inning stretch too.

I love baseball- but there are a lot of distractions in Major league parks. Wait until he plays- you'll pay attention then- and you'll love it!

Hubby and I used to go to minor league games all the time before kids. Now, it's like a vacation with the money we spend on all the goodies. But it is so much fun!

You FORGOT the camera. I would have cried. I would have missed the first part of the game to go home and retrieve it ... in fact I've done that before. If I can't do that though there's always the not so trusty camera phone :)

You forgot your camera Oh, man!!!
Ok, first of all the food, I am sitting here drooling over the food, but 2nd of all I can't believe the A's beat the Rangers....My man wasn't at his best today obviously (Josh Hamilton) but I guess it's ok..
Glad you all had a great time.

I can't believe you forgot your camera!! I bet you would have had some good pics.

You forgot the part about leaving the game -$500. All that good stuff is so expensive. I love all the yummy goodness but dislike the jacked up prices. Pretzel with mustard, you are my kinda gal :)

Doll, you didn't even need to share the score, with all that on the menu, you were winners regardless!

Oh my lord, do you have an iron stomach or WHAT? Love the "weekly white wine" idea, I'll be looking forward to that. Just sent the hubby to get me a fresh bottle of Little Penguin a minute ago, so I'll be sippin' tonight!

I tagged you for a meme today, but if you've done it before (I'm too lazy to check!), just link to your post in the comments instead.

So let me get this straight...

You came home plus five pounds, a foam #1 finger, and a helmet with greasy popcorn remains.

Do I have it about right? :)

Jeeeeez, remind me never to go to a ballgame with you because you must be one expensive chick to roll with!

And not 1 beer. So sad.

You are my kind of gal. We went to a ball game here a few weeks ago and your menu looked very similar. Unfortunately, my stomach hated me the rest of the night!

HEY! Those are the same things I get at the ballgame too!!

I cannot boo the A's. Having lived in The Bay area and attended many Oakland A's games growing up, they hold fond memories. We went when Mark McGuire, Jose Canseco and Reggie Jackson all played at the same time.

Must say the snacks have improved considerably in the past 20 years.

Of, fun! We are taking our kids to a game in a few weeks. Unlike movies, baseball is ALL ABOUT THE FOOD for me. The hot dogs especially!
