The Seinfeld Post
Just a post about nothing (in particular).*Um yeah...I guess I never really "introduced" my playlist with my electic music selections. It's at the bottom of my blog and you can turn it up/down/off there. A reader mentioned when trying to listen to a YouTube video the music was interfering. Adjust as needed.
*My insurance company sitch....well not completely resolved. I did have to call back and deal with a let's say foreigner who did not know what the he!! I was talking about. "Who is Blue Cross' bank that made this error?" UM, I don't know, you tell me! So I had the copy of the check faxed (thanks again Yaya) to 'membership' hopefully this will work. I didn't have to wait nearly as long this morning, but I am sure i'll have to call back Monday to make sure things are progressing!
*Do you think it would be wrong to teach K to at least pee her panties over the hardwood floor? I'm tired of scrubbing carpet. DQ wouldn't mind the entire house being her personal tapping floor, i'm sure of it.
*Just watching DQ in her dress rehearsal last night just had me reeling with pride. I can't imagine not having my 3 kids in my life, I will never regret the time we spend taxi-ing them around town, enduring long days/nights at practices, games or recitals, and I am the luckiest mom on earth.
*I blew up the microwave this week. You never know what you've lost until it's gone. We've missed popcorn, spaghetti sandwiches, and soggy chicken nuggets. Take note, when you press COOK for 8 minutes instead of TIMER...the micro cooks itself and burns up.
*I thought I blew up the A/C. One morning I clicked the thing on and it went RRRRRR-rrrrrrr-------. Of course it was one of the hottest days to date, but Hubby, the fixing-angel, came to the rescue. Taking the window unit apart he discovered a pencil shoved in the vent stopping the fan. RUT ROH, someone's busted. Most likely K. Well she works from the inside...My Boy has made holes in the outside portion with a screwdriver, so far that hasn't ruined anything.
*We've been watching Last Comic Standing and so far we think the San Francisco group has been the best! Some people think dressing like a sumo-wrestler or something resembling Darth Maul is funny. It's just not. There are a few pairs and trios this time around too.
*Just as I collect interesting white wines by label, I also have a habit of changing my header, cuz I can. Here's what i've had...
*Beware, I'm not digging the fish, so i'm changing 'clothes' again today. OCD I tell you!

Do you know that I check my email each morning, and then your blog?! It's like having a view of the inside of your head! Seriously, it makes me chuckle and that's a nice way to start any day!

Love the new header! It is fun to change things up now and then.

Each header is cuter than the last!
You're lucky to have a handy husband!
You're kids are just as lucky to have you!
Spaghetti sandwiches, hmmm?
I agree costumes on LCS are not funny... I like some of the couples, but think they might get old.
Nothing wrong with directing K to hard floors!

Man, living without a microwave is tough...
What exactely are spaghetti sandwiches?
June 14, 2008 at 9:05 AM
Love the slide show! I change my hair about as much as you change your header. Maybe I'll do a slideshow of that!
Good luck with pee pee training. At one point with C, we were at our toilet-less parks a lot. I bought that potty that turns into a stepstool and kept it in the back of the car. He couldn't wait to pee in a potty in the car!

I'm thinking you could have a side business doing banners... think about it because they are great!
June 14, 2008 at 10:15 AM
I love working on banners! I made my sister start blogging just because I wanted to design another website!
June 14, 2008 at 10:57 AM
I like you post about nothing in general....nice little musings from the mum of 3!!
Oops about the micro...I didn't know that would/could happen.
Good thing you have a handy hubby with the a/c, I wish I had a/c :(
Peeing on the wooden floor is alot better than the carpet...so direct away I say!! :P
Love all your headers....but then I have always admired all of your work Jen, you are an artist for sure!! :)
June 14, 2008 at 11:30 AM
I dig all the headers!!! I'm OCD, too. I so get it.
And if you need me to put the pressure on ol' yaya just give me a buzz. I'm good at that stuff. And I work for a Blue. And I hate incompetence. ;) I'm your girl.

Thanks for stopping by when I was featured on SITS. I'm just now getting caught up on visiting everyone who stopped by.
You made that banner yourself? It's so pretty. I love it!
I would be completely lost without my microwave. It's hard to believe that there was a time that we didn't have one.

June 14, 2008 at 6:53 PM
Cute headers. How do you do it?
June 14, 2008 at 7:10 PM
Enjoyed your post, I'm glad I found your blog! Great slideshow, way to go!

My husband found a mouse in our air conditioner. It is lovely to have a smart husband, I agree. (It beats paying a repairman to tell you the same thing.) LOVE the new look; fish weren't doing it for me, either. (like you asked!) Maybe with some background color?

I came to your blog from Happy meals... and we have similar blog names. I am cracking up! I am loving your blog!!! I buy wine like you do... that is too funny! good luck on the potty training. My friend James feels the same way about the whole hardwood carpet deal

Loving the new new header Jen....very pretty indeed!! :)
June 15, 2008 at 5:01 AM
Ohm but I loved the fish!!!! And the playlist-we'll it is identical to my very own. so, natch-I love it.
June 15, 2008 at 8:12 PM
I love the new header and it is nice to change. I get bored quickly, so well, I am ready to change mine too.
They really are all nice, but my favorites are the butterfly one before the happy days, or the black and white.
June 16, 2008 at 7:40 AM
I've been meaning to tell you how much I love your playlist! I was browsing your blog one day when you first installed it (before I figured out it was there) while listening to music on my computer at work. What was I listening to? Gettin' Jiggy With It. What starts playing from your playlist? The same damn song! I thought my media player was freaking out!
Oh and remind me to tell you my microwaves story...truly embarassing!
June 16, 2008 at 8:55 PM
Your blog is a blast. Can you teach me how to change my header? I can do a lot of things with my template, but haven't changed the header. I'm serious, and I am not a stalker. (of course, if I wasn't a stalker, I wouldn't have said that, right?) Good grief. Now I've done it. Glad to have your excerpts promted through Adoptic, I have been a fan for a while now. Love the title of your blog..that's my motto: Starbucks is cheaper than therapy.

See...I just call mine randomness.
You. are. clever.
I love all those fabulous headers.
Can you "learn" me that too?
Virtually of course.
Or you could "sell" me one of your old and forgotten ones.
June 17, 2008 at 1:12 PM
They are all so cute! Very talented girl you are.
Hang in there with the potty training. It is my least favorite thing!
