A Thousand Words Thursday

September, 2007 My second tattoo. Every year my 4 best buddies and I get together for a girl's weekend. Pretty much every year someone has gotten a tattoo. Hubby gets a little nervous after each trip if he'll have to play Where's Waldo to find my new ink. Best part, I wasn't drunk when I got them and I have no regrets! That's the inside of my left ankle by the way.

Cute "ink". I've never been brave enough (or drunk enough near a tattoo parlor) to get one. I think they are cool, especially when they have a special meaning!
March 5, 2009 at 2:16 AM
Very nice tat.
March 5, 2009 at 3:05 AM
Love the ink! I want more myself!!
PS - time to switch your link & button to your "big girl" address!!!

You're such a rebel; a woman full of mystery. Okay, why is the A so much bigger than the others?
March 5, 2009 at 3:56 AM
Very cool! I so love when they are new and "fresh"!
March 5, 2009 at 4:14 AM
All I can say is, that looks like that hurt!
March 5, 2009 at 4:40 AM
My sisters & I have often talked about all getting a tattoo together, but have never done it!
March 5, 2009 at 4:52 AM

That is a cool tattoo! I have 2 so far, with plans of getting another one with one of my best friends this summer when we go visit...not drunk and no regrets here, either... ;) Thanks for sharing! :)
March 5, 2009 at 5:42 AM
What a fun thing to do with the girls. Hubby has one on his arm but I don't have any.
March 5, 2009 at 5:56 AM
I love it! I may copy your design idea!!! :-)
March 5, 2009 at 6:01 AM
I have never got a tattoo. I am too chicken and I am afraid what they would look like when I am old and wrinkled.
March 5, 2009 at 6:01 AM
what a cute tattoo!!!
March 5, 2009 at 6:04 AM
Who woulda thunk it?
Love it. ;)
March 5, 2009 at 6:12 AM
I've always wanted to be brave enough to get something tasteful tattooed but I'm too chicken! Glad you're not!
March 5, 2009 at 6:19 AM
I really like that tattoo!! Looks great!
March 5, 2009 at 6:21 AM

March 5, 2009 at 6:34 AM
I just had a mom's weekend...and SO wanted to get my first tattoo that I have wanted forever. Nobody else was up for it...party poopers. I'll have to take YOU next time!
March 5, 2009 at 6:36 AM
I just got back from a mom's only weekend. I wanted to get my first tattoo that I've wanted forever! Nobody else was up for it...party poopers! I'll have to take YOU next time!
March 5, 2009 at 6:36 AM
That's fun and I'm glad you don't have any regrets!
March 5, 2009 at 6:42 AM
I really like that tat. I've been wanting a second one, just can't decide on the design.
March 5, 2009 at 6:46 AM
I love it! I always wondered what and if you ended up getting it! If time allows, I may ink up in Chicago- now put on your thinking cap for something brilliant for me- my kids' initials GAGA- that's weird, right?
March 5, 2009 at 6:47 AM
very cool. what does it all stand for?
March 5, 2009 at 6:51 AM
I love, love, love your tattoo! I have always wanted one but have been too chicken! The noise of that little machine scares the poo out of me! Maybe one day!!!
March 5, 2009 at 7:00 AM
I love it! I'm very surprised that we didn't come home with a new tattoo from Memphis this past weekend....YEAH!
March 5, 2009 at 7:23 AM
I am almost ready to get one of those...almost.
March 5, 2009 at 7:53 AM
I really want a tattoo but am so indecisive about what I want and where I want it.
How did you decide on what you wanted?
March 5, 2009 at 8:20 AM
LOL that sounds like a blast!
March 5, 2009 at 8:46 AM
I love "ink". I have a tattoo that i got after i was married. I love how symbolic they can be. I will never regret mine, either. (i may need another one soon).
March 5, 2009 at 8:54 AM
NICE !!!!!
March 5, 2009 at 8:58 AM
Nice! Fun to learn a little more about you!
March 5, 2009 at 9:11 AM
Very cute, I heard it hurts down by the ankle.
March 5, 2009 at 9:15 AM
I like the tattoo. Funny about your husband wondering what you will come home with. Nicely done!
March 5, 2009 at 9:34 AM
Very cool tattoo. Sounds like a fun trip!
March 5, 2009 at 9:41 AM
I love Girls Weekends, it is always so nice to get away from home and do some female bonding.
March 5, 2009 at 9:50 AM
Cool tatoo. I've always been too much of a wimp to get one!
March 5, 2009 at 10:00 AM
Super Awesome! Love it!!!!! I am waiting to get my first. I have a concept but not a design... Yours is rad!
March 5, 2009 at 10:03 AM
Reminds me of a comment left on my blog recently. You are either very brave or insane.
Truly.not.me.to.tattoo.
Bit of a generation gap between us, Mom Jen, I think. Sigh.
March 5, 2009 at 10:38 AM
thats really cute! i dont have any as of yet (im scared of needles) but i really want to get one!
March 5, 2009 at 11:21 AM
I love the pic. You have great skin. You won't be seeing my cracked feet up close anytime soon or ANY part of me for that matter! I am also too indecisive for a tat. I have a hard enough time with "temporary" decisions ;)Looks like you are everything I'm not..well hydrated, bold and decisive but I still like you! :)
March 5, 2009 at 11:36 AM
oh i love it!!
its so cute!
March 5, 2009 at 12:13 PM
Good for you! I have a tat and I regret it every day! I wish I picked something as meaningful, instead of a tribal butterfly because it looked pretty.
March 5, 2009 at 1:00 PM
It's very cute - I really love it!! Very classy and simple. I lol at "Where's Waldo" - he he!
March 5, 2009 at 1:16 PM
That's really cute, Jen! I have always wanted one but I am too chicken!
March 5, 2009 at 1:43 PM
Cute! I'm not in for any pain, but love to look at other's creative "body art"!
March 5, 2009 at 2:11 PM
Love it! My next one will incorpate my children's names/initals somehow.
March 5, 2009 at 4:17 PM
All I can think about when I look at your tattoo is Andrew W.K., and I'm pretty sure that is not what it means. Haha.
March 5, 2009 at 4:59 PM
I thought it hurt when you got a tattoo on your foot or ankle. No?

Cool tat! I'm too chicken to get one. :-)
March 5, 2009 at 5:50 PM
It's cute!
So what's your other one?
March 5, 2009 at 5:51 PM
cute tat but looks as if it would of been painful there but I reckon it is where it should be seen
March 5, 2009 at 7:18 PM
I remember how you agonized over getting it just right!! It still looks great!
March 5, 2009 at 8:18 PM
OK girl, show me the one on your pregnant tummy!!!
Dare you!
Ha!
(What are your readers going to think if they read this comment?...oh, I am spreading false rumors!)
March 5, 2009 at 9:38 PM
I would have never pegged you as a tattoo person. I always thought I wanted one but I think I am over it. My husband has two. When it comes down to it I am a chicken and more conservative than I would like to admit.
March 5, 2009 at 11:55 PM
Super cute... who's Awk? ;-)
March 6, 2009 at 3:46 AM
cute :) that must have tickled while getting it done
March 6, 2009 at 8:46 AM
I absolutely love it! Does this mean we are getting some at BlogHer?!?!?!?
March 7, 2009 at 12:57 AM
It looks great.
I feel deprived (or maybe depraved) ---my husband and I are the only people I know without tattoos. Of course, I could go out an get one ---but nothing will make this body look good and if I put it someplace no one can see, i don't want anyone to see that part of my body either.
March 7, 2009 at 4:54 AM
I have been craving a new tatoo...I love that one...simple and a delcaration of love...
March 10, 2009 at 12:07 PM
OMG I LOVE it!!! Good choice!
