A Thousand Words Thursday

June, 2005 Every year we camp on the beach. The site we reserve has the most amazing tree we've dubbed the "climbing" tree. The kids have a blast on it and it becomes the center for imagination. Looking for our next trip this fall and reserving that same spot that provides hours of extra fun!

How fun. Tara loves trees like that. My niece has a great tree in her yard that Tara discovered this weekend while playing with her cousins! She's such a tomboy sometimes!

What a great shot! I was a tree climber when I was a kid - the Princess Nagger has tried to climb our apple tree out back a few times, but that tree the boys are in looks like the best climbing tree! ;)

There is something special about trees and kids. I have great childhood memories about a willow tree at my grandparents house. Loved climbing that thing. I hope your kids have just as wonderful memories of their camping trips and their 'climbing tree.'

Family camping trips were always a major highlight in my childhood. And camping on the beach sounds like great fun! Your boys look like they are having the time of their lives!
And what a great climbing tree.....I like it since it seems low to the ground but that's a "mom" talking! LOL!

Looks like a great climbing tree. I know you all have fun with that one. We had a tree all bent and crooked at our cabin when I was growing up, I know just how fun they can be!! Enjoy your trip back this fall!!

Oh that's a pretty great tree! Our beach (in NJ)doesn't have trees, so that's pretty cool.

I love that tree! I hope someday we can camp with you again. This year there's hope -- we bought a new tent last month, AND Rick is no longer in a fishing club that ruins half our weekends. Yay!
