Alert the Media! Oh Wait, Nevermind.
I think this may be a record...I've cooked dinner 5 nights IN A ROW!
Saturday-Bacon Wrapped Chicken and steamed zucchini
Sunday-Spaghetti with meat sauce (turkey) and peas
Monday-Bean Burritos and salad
Tuesday-Beef Stew and bread
Oops that's only 4. Sorry, no records have been shattered.
K put the phone down we can't call Guiness Book yet.
But, it's been crazy, i'm totally getting my Rachael Ray on and working it in the kitchen.
It's weird, it's cool, it's domestic, it's...dare I say...fun!
DQ's not having it for the sole reason we're making too many dirty dishes and her chore of emptying the dishwasher has been significantly upped.
My husband is getting spoiled!
I need to throw him off.
I'm ordering pizza tonight.

I think my husband too would freak if I cooked more than two meals in a row... I am heading on three if I decide to cook tonight:) woo hoo

Well done. I am a bit lucky...my husband has been the main cook since I was diagnoised with my Lymphoma.

I sent Rick the McMommy recipe for Chicken Taco Stew and it's now simmering at home. (He's got to be good for something if he's going to be hanging around all day!) We've been good about cooking, too, and it's nice to save some money AND enjoy cooking.
But tomorrow we're doing pizza. :) (Though I will cook it myself instead of ordering - lol)

I used to love cooking. But my kids are such a bunch of picky pains that now I hate it!
That Chicken Taco Stew sounds yummy! (from comment above)

OK, so I work in TV news, maybe I could arrange to get your almost-world-record on air? LOL.
I don't think I've EVER cooked four nights in a row. Maybe two... perhaaaaaps three... but that would have to be in the very early days of my marriage when I was still trying to impress DH. Now? We eat cereal for dinner a LOT.

That would definitely be a record in this house. Most of the time I prefer to answer "what are you going to make?" with "a phone call" in regards to dinner, but sometimes I can get on a roll in the kitchen. Never four nights though. Lol.

Mmmmm, bacon.
Don't let the hubs get too used to it though, there is no going back, trust me.
