I would have felt the same way as K! I've done that before too, but usually it ends up in a pitcher because I don't buy soda. :/
April 16, 2009 at 12:19 AM
Good thinking!! That looks exactly like something my husband would do. He's a Diet Pepsi addict, bottles everywhere!! Poor K, she was robbed!
April 16, 2009 at 12:33 AM
I would die if I went to get my beloved Diet Pepsi and there was milk in there! LOL
April 16, 2009 at 12:35 AM
oh man!! and she thought she would get some really good soda!
You owe her now...MOM! lol
Hey, if you left some of the Pepsi in there you could be like LaVern (and Shirley).... ;-)
April 16, 2009 at 2:11 AM
OMG!
The panic...the mess...the smell....
Only a mom can relate to your pain because we've been there.
Have a great day!
April 16, 2009 at 2:49 AM
I'm in, I'm in! ;o)
April 16, 2009 at 3:55 AM
Oh, goodness! Quick thinking, Mom!!
April 16, 2009 at 3:58 AM
Funny picture! Tara does not like anything carbonated but LOVES milk.
April 16, 2009 at 4:09 AM
Double-recycle...love it! And that's too funny K thought she was getting Pepsi until she saw what it really was... :)
April 16, 2009 at 4:15 AM
Hey, at least the milk didn't all spill out. I've dropped a gallon of milk and had the entire thing split in half and milk went everywhere .. It's super fun to clean up!
April 16, 2009 at 4:35 AM
LOL - quick thinking.
April 16, 2009 at 4:36 AM
We've done the same thing on occasion. I'm glad you had some bottles to put it in! :)
April 16, 2009 at 4:46 AM
So funny! That has happened to me a few times, tough. I used pitchers. Good times!
April 16, 2009 at 5:08 AM
Very funny shot!!!
April 16, 2009 at 5:17 AM
Too Funny! My kids would rebel!
April 16, 2009 at 5:31 AM
oh I have done that a few times myself!
We went to pizza hut yesterday and we ordered water to drink...my son went around stealing sips out of everyones hoping there was some soda in somebodies...oh the dissappointment!
April 16, 2009 at 5:34 AM
Fast thinking!!!
April 16, 2009 at 5:39 AM
That is definitely one way to get kids to drink milk. "No, it's pop honey".. :-)
April 16, 2009 at 5:52 AM
My kids would be just the same. But my oldest would still probably've said, "eeewwww. Mom, you can't put soda on cereal!" Whatta complainer!
April 16, 2009 at 5:58 AM
oh man been there!
April 16, 2009 at 5:59 AM
HA HA HA!
Now that's recycling! ;-)
April 16, 2009 at 5:59 AM
Didn't Laverne make that milk & pepsi a famous drink? Or was that Squiggy?
April 16, 2009 at 6:01 AM
lol, that's too funny...not the milk mess part but thta K thought she was gonna drink DP then realized it was milk :(
April 16, 2009 at 6:05 AM
LOL that totally cracked me up! Way to save the milk!
April 16, 2009 at 6:11 AM
At least you were at home when you dropped it...there's nothing worse than dropping your milk in the parking lot!
April 16, 2009 at 6:19 AM
Yikes! I hate it when that happens. Somehow it's weird to drink milk from a different container too, I don't know why, it just is!
April 16, 2009 at 6:42 AM
We always have plenty of empty Diet Pepsi bottles. Unfortunately, I drink it like water.
April 16, 2009 at 6:43 AM
That is wonderful. we don't drink any soda so I would be in big trouble.
April 16, 2009 at 6:44 AM
I think I am the first comment! I would so rather drop milk then a syrup bottle. That was so much fun trying to get that up! Thanks for sharing!
April 16, 2009 at 6:50 AM
LOL!!!! My kids would be so excited too!!!
April 16, 2009 at 7:08 AM
Bummer on the leaky milk jug, but atleast you got to save it. Milk is so expensive.
April 16, 2009 at 7:11 AM
I have done that before!
April 16, 2009 at 7:26 AM
Hahaha! That's a mean trick, for someone who's expecting Pepsi! :) At least you had something to save the milk. How is your floor?
April 16, 2009 at 7:52 AM
That looks pretty gross...almost as gross as the snails! You got me thinking about what I would use...all I have in my recycle bin is WINE BOTTLES (rough week!)
April 16, 2009 at 8:00 AM
That is great! I would have been upset to lose all that milk!
April 16, 2009 at 8:15 AM
That is great! How funny! Glad you could save your milk! :)
April 16, 2009 at 8:18 AM
I hate milk. My mother says as soon as I stopped taking a bottle, I stopped drinking milk. Just the sight of it makes me gag! LOL! Looking at your picture, I was thinking...that better not be milk! Now I am going to have a problem drinking Pepsi without thinking about it! haha!
April 16, 2009 at 8:34 AM
haha, that sounds like something we would do ;)
April 16, 2009 at 8:36 AM
What a clever idea. :) And so "green" of you, too.
April 16, 2009 at 8:46 AM
That is some fast thinking!
April 16, 2009 at 8:52 AM
Don't you hate it when that happens! At first glance I thought you had Crystal Clear Pepsi... remember that? I may the only one in the world who remembers, lol
April 16, 2009 at 9:27 AM
Too funny. Way to improvise!
Hope you're having a great week!
April 16, 2009 at 9:39 AM
Ugghhh, I hate when that happens! Usually we don't ahve another bottle of something lying around when it does either :(
April 16, 2009 at 11:59 AM
That's one way to trick your kids into drinking milk!
April 16, 2009 at 12:43 PM
No use crying over spilt milk. Great thinking, if not a huge tease for poor K! :-)
April 16, 2009 at 1:13 PM
so funny!!
April 16, 2009 at 1:14 PM
Too funny, I would be disappointed too!
I actually had a similar disaster here about a week ago, being the brainiac I am I decided to use a knife to cut the seal on the milk and ended up puncturing the jug. Lucky for me I had an empty milk jug to use.
April 16, 2009 at 2:37 PM
OMG I have totally done this! HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
April 16, 2009 at 5:14 PM
LOL We've done that before but had nothing to put the milk in. :p
Hey, you totally inspired me to beg my hubby for a nice camera BTW. He might be falling for it. I can't wait to take nice pictures like you :)
Oh, I have a new group/forum for mom & dad bloggers. I would love to see you over there!

Smart thinking...now did it take like Pepsi?
I was totally thinking they brought back Clear Pepsi, too (and then remember the SNL kit with clear gravy? gross.)
April 16, 2009 at 7:43 PM
And here I had guessed that you had a cow in your back yard! :)
April 17, 2009 at 10:04 AM
That was resourceful!!
I'm so sad -- I can no longer blog at work. The filter won't let me access the blogger pages, and is even blocking more and more blogs that I read. What, I can't have a mid-morning or lunch break for blog time?? *sigh* Guess I should go do more work, since that's all there is now. (Not even facebook as of today -- that's blocked, too!!!)
April 17, 2009 at 2:16 PM
I once had an apple juice container full of chocolate milk. They ought to make those cartons stronger.
April 17, 2009 at 6:19 PM
Okay, I can't believe I am about to admit this, but...I used to mix Diet Pepsi and milk when I was younger, like in middle school. Seriously. And I kind of have a hankering for it after seeing the milk in the Diet Pepsi bottle.
Have I totally grossed you out?
