Life is a Frag-ment, I'm Gonna Blog it All Day Long!

Friday Fragments?

*So I'm working on editing all gajillion photos from our camping and San Diego trip...bear with me.

*I'll also let you all know when I have my Legoland giveaway at my review site, don't want to miss the chance to enter!

*Finally have an appt. with a GI for a consult and endoscopy. Hoping for some reflux relief soon!

*School starts Monday! DQ will be at a new school for 6th grade junior high. *BLINK* yep, that's how fast it all went. My Boy has a male teacher for the second year in a row, and he's fabulous! Little K will start preschool next month!

*I have a "job!" Will be picking up my nephews from school twice a week and tutoring them in Spanish...ole! Don't laugh, I have some skillz. 8 years of Spanish courses...years ago, but once I get into it, i'll be good. My 8 year old nephew, T is already pretty fluent, so he may actually be teaching me, but little Kindergartener B, putty in my hands. Stay tuned, my posts will soon be all in Spanish. (no they won't)

*Ants have consumed our home and they LOVE laundry! Just swimming in it, the clean stuff. I'm ready to go apeshit! Hubby has his magic ant potion sprayed around the perimeter of the house. Problem is, it's about 100 degrees the past few days and all the doors are open and the smell has given me a raging headache. I hate having a super sense of smell.

*I miss vacation. I miss summer vacation. Don't get me wrong, the kids back in school is fabulosity, but the ability to go anywhere, and not have a schedule has been a gift too. You should see my calendar. It's filled with dance, soccer practice, and work. I'm sorta having a mini-panic attack about it all. I'd even go sit in the Splash Zone with Shamu again to get away from it all.

*Note to self, go buy lotto tickets.

I know; my calendar is filling up CRAZY fast, too! I feel like I'm at the top of a slippery slide--I hope it's fun!

Teaching Spanish, huh? That is very cool!

Ants? oooh...I can't even stand to see one of those babies, let alone hundreds...Good luck getting rid of those buggers; sounds like you're on the right track :)

OMG! We have the worst ant problem as well! They are driving us crazy! Can I ask what your husband uses? We have tried everything, even a professional exterminator, nothing is working!

That's so cool that you're going to be teaching Spanish. I think if I decide my tiny mind can handle trying another language that I'll go for Spanish.

For the ants you might want to try vinegar (although you might not like that smell either) or EcoSmart (all natural with a yummy peppermint smell) for the lottery, I got to help there ;-)

Will you split your lotto winnings with me???

Definitely post about the Legoland giveaway. I am there with my kids!

I love spanish! Hubby and I each took 4 years of Spanish but I would love to be fluent.

I hate ants too! Never had them in Colorado but here in Maryland we have periodic invasions plus hubby found evidence of a mouse while I was gone. I HATE mice. So much for being natural, the mouse posion is already out.

My kids don't start back until Aug. 31st so we have a bit more time to enough.

    Happy Friday!

Your kids are already back in school? Wow - that was fast! The kids here don't head back until September.

We don't have ants, we have earwigs. Gag. Everywhere.

I have three kids in three different schools this year. Yikes. I am glad none of them are joiners, so our evenings won't be as busy as yours!

That sounds like a fun job! I was thinking about taking a spanish class as a refresher. It would be fun to knock the cob webs off of my 4 years of spanish and maybe get to a fluent point.

I'm was just sniffing that my daughter will be in middle school next year! And I've got one going into preschool too!

We've got a sugar ant hotel going on here, they love our cereal! Too bad my hubby doesn't know what to do ;)!

Hope the GI gives you some help!

Ants love my laundry room, too. Hope that potion works.

I dread the start of school. It's so hard being a slave to the schedule.
