The Xmas Photo Drama

WHY?

Oh why is it so hard to get one....

JUST ONE...

Nice family photo?

Once a year.

That's it, that's all I ask.

I don't think it's too much.

We live in the most gorgeous area in the world.

We go to the beach in 30 minutes and this is what we get...


Mom it's freezing! (it was)

The wind is blowing my hair! (it did)

Why do we have to do this? (because we live in the most gorgeous place and I want a damn cute Christmas card!)

My oldest daughter, near tears.

It's too hard.


This...faces too dark, not a natural pose, all I see is fingers.

This one, great, but so much sun on the eyes, the squinting. Son's hands in his pocket so they don't freeze up and fall off.

We get our coats on, back in the car to warmth, give up and decide to try again at Thanksgiving.

Poor K, she's holding up great, but um...honey where are you looking??!


Seriously, K has been doing so well, she just wanted to climb into my lap by this time....and HONEY, seriously, camera is OVER HERE!!


For the love of all that is holy.

I give up.

Good thing I know a thing or two about Photoshop.

It's going to be a cut and paste Christmas!
