Suddenly, it's Summer

What are your summer plans?

Besides my quest to find natural remedies for my newly diagnosed osteo-arthritis (currently drinking cherry juice (ack sour!), taking glucosamine, and venturing into yoga and possibly pilates)...we're going to do what Californians normally do in the summer time.

Go to the beach and make kelp skirts for the mermaid of the family.
Skim board with the new wooden members of our clan.
Drink fruity summer cocktails (near a pool is optional).
Let the kids swim happily.
And....well, that's basically it.

Happy Summer!

Oh my goodness, I love those kelp skirts! It's funny to hear you say that summer is starting, because I already feel like it's slipping through my fingers. I always forget to schedule time to breath in the summer, I'm so excited to be able to get outside and DO!

Bill was diagnosed a few years ago, and the glucosamine has really helped him. Costco sells it :-)

That sounds like a great summer plan!

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis *hugs*.

We love going to the beach and love the warmer weather. My son lives on his skim board when we go to the beach.

Our summer plans involve picnics, a little bit of traveling, and hopefully a really super-awesome birthday party for my daughter in August. :-) Katharina

All that sounds so wonderful. I can't wait til I'm in sunny CA in a few days. I live in the south (north LA) and all we're doing here is sweating our asses off. It's already over 100 every day here. So hot. And miserable.
