Things Sisters Do
I never had a sister, so I didn't get to dress anyone up or be the human Barbie doll as my girls enjoy playing. It's sweet, it's fun and I'm shocked that just last year DQ was wearing most of these outfits!K is pretty easy to please. When big sister is giving her all the attention she thrives. Their fashion show was adorable and K was a ham posing.
"Dancey Dancey" K says about all her outfits as big sis has worn them in her recitals over the past few years. It's only a matter of a year that K will hit the stage, I think she'll be a natural performer.

That is way too much cuteness for one post! She is just beautiful! I think my favorite is the red shirt and black pants...she looks like a fly girl!

ha ha...at first I thought your daughter had a shirt on with your blog logo! Then I realized it was your watermark. I'm a dork!

How adorable!! I'm loving the grin!
July 16, 2008 at 6:06 AM

July 16, 2008 at 6:12 AM
You think?
I think she is definitely a natural in front of the camera.
More great photos!
I can't take it.
Must. have. tutorial. from. you.

that is sister love!! I can't believe how big K is getting!!
July 16, 2008 at 7:19 AM
What fabulous fun! I just had an older brother... dress up was not a game we played as kids. :D
You might want to do something about how shy K seems to be.... haha
July 16, 2008 at 7:41 AM
Yeah, I have a picture of me and my sister dressed up for our first and last dance recital. My mother put so much makeup on us and curled out hair so ruthlessly that we looked like the early 80's version of the first Bratz dolls. Shudder. Maybe that's why we became tomboys and started catching frogs and playing in mud.

Those faces are sooooo cute!!! They are such lucky girls.
I wanted a sister so badly growing up. I feel badly that Lily doesn't have one. That guilt may very well lead to a third brother ;)
July 16, 2008 at 7:53 AM
She is absolutely adorable! I wish I had a little girl to dress up. *sniff sniff*
July 16, 2008 at 8:27 AM
Love the little bee!
July 16, 2008 at 8:36 AM
Sooo cute! My girls love to dress up. I think its good for them to have imaginations these days. That doesn't happen much with all of the video games and dvd's they watch.
July 16, 2008 at 8:48 AM
Such a sweet little face on that one! Love the bumble bee outfit. And that black and red striped number. Too cute!
July 16, 2008 at 9:02 AM
Perhaps she'll be on SYTYCD soon!? I'll have an excuse for my addiction...
She's so stinkin' cute!
July 16, 2008 at 9:29 AM
Perfect little model.
She makes a wonderful Pirate.
July 16, 2008 at 9:56 AM
Beautiful Girls! Glad DQ found something fun to do and it kept K happy too! Fun times!
And I used to play dress up with my little brothers. Fodder for a future post! I have a picture of the 3 of us dressed as little old ladies. Tee hee.

Everyone already said what I wanted to say!!!
I'll say it anyway...
- I thought the red shirt in the first pic had your logo on it!!!
- The bee pic is to die for! Her smile!!!
July 16, 2008 at 10:27 AM
OMG! I remember the red and black one from the hip hop in front of the Vet's building! I can't believe K is fitting into them even a little! Time is flying by too fast. Great pics. I love her smile. :)

July 16, 2008 at 1:32 PM
I had two sisters. We had a blast dressing up.
Such cute pics!
July 16, 2008 at 2:41 PM
Oh my gosh, they are too cute! You have a little model on your hands :)
PS-I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thought she had your blog logo on her shirt! Lol!
July 16, 2008 at 3:00 PM
As a younger sister, it's wonderful that all you're doing is letting them share the clothing love. I still have nightmares of the hair trims my mom let my sister give me *shudder*
Those smiles are precious!
July 16, 2008 at 3:08 PM
What adorable pictures! She is a real cutie-pie! I love the one in the piratey looking pants.
July 16, 2008 at 4:39 PM
OK that child just gets cuter all the time...isn't it against the law to have such beautiful children?? huh huh??
I think she will be a natural, she certainly love the camera...which means you might not just have a performer on your hands....but a major supahstar!!! :)
July 16, 2008 at 5:39 PM
Memories! How sweet!
I was lucky enough to grow up with 2 sisters. We never played dress up but we did do our own version of The Price Is Right and Name That Tune! LOL
July 16, 2008 at 8:28 PM
So stinkin' cute! Sisters also do this to little brothers. Ha! I should post some pics, but my boys would probably not appreciate it someday.
July 16, 2008 at 8:38 PM
So fun!!!
July 16, 2008 at 9:32 PM
I didn't have a sister either, but I imagine it's a lot like my relationship with my own daughter/14. We get all girlie together with hair/makeup/jewelry. She's helping me a LOT with wedding preparations too.
July 16, 2008 at 10:03 PM
So stinkin cute!!!!!!!
Her smile is contageous!!
July 17, 2008 at 8:22 AM
LOVE the fashion show! Thanks for sharing. I understand about the human barbie doll thing - my kids think 4 month old Brady is a dollbaby. They like to dress him up, make his body move, etc. etc.
July 17, 2008 at 11:07 AM
Jen, I love these pictures! The fashion show looks so fun! K is adorable, of course:)
July 17, 2008 at 11:42 AM
Simply Gorgeous!!! What beautiful girls you have.
She's not a DIVA or anything is she? LOL
July 17, 2008 at 7:28 PM
Baby K, could you get ANY friggin' cuter?!? You're such a ham. Love the sister fashion show-I too, lacked that sisterly experience, with 2 brothers 11 years older than me. Looks like I missed out ;)
July 17, 2008 at 8:22 PM
how adorable!
