A Thousand Words Thursday
November, 2008
Just a few birthday party shots from DQ's 10th party. My oldest has requested I don't blog about her much anymore, it's the embarassment thing. I understand, sort of. I'll run things by her, on occassion. This was part of the group at the movie-portion of the evening. The girls also painted guitars, ate pizza, danced, and stayed up until midnight.
Want to join me in A Thousand Words Thursday, read and grab my button from HERE. Then write in your name and blog addy in Mr. Linky below.

Too funny. Atleast they let you sit in the same theater.

Where is Mr. Linky? He is hiding!

oh that looks like fun! I have a 11 year old sister and she's been wanting to go see that!
I remember reading that she didn't want you to post about her..she still feels that way?
November 20, 2008 at 4:34 AM
BWAAAA, so big! :-(
November 20, 2008 at 4:45 AM
That was a fun movie to see!!!! Guess there comes a day when the embarassment gets to all of them...mine on the other hand just might have to get used to it :)
November 20, 2008 at 4:51 AM
My sister is 30, and she is also in love with this kid.
I'm more of a Michael Cera mom, I guess. :)
November 20, 2008 at 4:57 AM
very cute shot!
November 20, 2008 at 5:24 AM
HAHA! You have to remind her it doesn't get any more less embarrasing as she gets older...with her future boyfriends/husband getting to see all her wonderful (embarrasing) pictures and telling him all the funny (embarrasing) stories. :) This whole blogging thing is just a precurser. HAHA!
November 20, 2008 at 5:54 AM

November 20, 2008 at 6:15 AM
I used to accuse my daughter and her friends of drinking "giggle juice" at that age.

We went to HSM3 with 2 kindergarten friends and their moms. We had a mom and dot date. It was so much fun. All the moms cried when they graduated. We're wusses!

November 20, 2008 at 7:50 AM

I'm not even a Zac efron fan, but that opening scene where he's all sweaty and breathing heavy? Yeah.

You are the coolest mom ever, that sounds amazing!
November 20, 2008 at 10:50 AM

Perhaps that guy didn't want to be busted watching the movie?!
sounds like a great birthday! movies AND guitars...!
November 20, 2008 at 12:14 PM
My 5 year old daughter saw HSM3 at a friend's b-day and loved it. Looks like your daughter had fun!
November 20, 2008 at 12:33 PM
They look like they're having a great time though! Too funny when the kids have to preface stuff with..."Ok Mom, I'm gonna tell you about this but you can NOT blog about it!"
November 20, 2008 at 2:16 PM
My friend's MOM has been raving about HSM3 for weeks now...says it's actually good ;)
Love the sneaky movie theatre shots-the girls all look so LITTLE! Are most of them younger than DQ or just look smaller? So cute ;)
Sounds like a blast of a b-day party!
Loving the new Christmas music by the way...
November 20, 2008 at 2:29 PM
Oh my daughter just *loves* hsm!! We bought her the #3 soundtrack, but she will probably have to wait for the DVD to see it :(
November 20, 2008 at 5:06 PM
love it, you are making me want to see high school musicial:)
November 20, 2008 at 5:51 PM
Awesome, looks like a good time! Is it weird that I want to see HSM3 and I don't even have any tweens?
Shhh, don't tell!
November 20, 2008 at 5:55 PM

November 20, 2008 at 6:59 PM

Great idea for a blog post. I can't wait to start playing along. Looks like the party was fun. :)
November 21, 2008 at 12:06 AM
What a fun party! Have to admit, we've already been to HSM (and by 'we', I mean my husband and I...oh, yes and the little ones) I think we all sang along :)
November 21, 2008 at 6:28 AM
That's hilarious -- what a good dad, though, to withstand all of that for his own group of girls!
(at least, I hope he was the dad!)
November 21, 2008 at 2:32 PM
Very good pictures!
Girls-How adorable!
Can I ask what program you use? Love the watermark design.
I need help on all that stuff.
November 21, 2008 at 7:55 PM
Remember when staying up till midnight was SO cool and special? Then it was awesome to have no curfew. Now we have to MAKE ourselves go to bed because we're aware of the consequences. Being an adult sucks!
November 21, 2008 at 8:11 PM
Fun party! I think I would like to HSM movies but my boys don't want to see them with me!
