Dumpster Diving Would Be More Fun
Dumps.Dumpy.
Dumpster.
Just feeling plain DUMP lately.
And speaking of dump, would someone please talk to my 3 year old and inform her that 'taking one' isn't bad.
It's actually good. A relief. Takes a 'load' off ever-so-literally!
SIGH.
The wine bottle has been opened tonight my friends. The drinking has begun.
Washes the sorrows away if only for a few hours.
SIGH.
In other news, My Boy got blood drawn (fasting...ridiculous for children in my opinion) and whimpered over it. Luckily forgot the whole thing by baseball practice.
Also saw a podiatrist. Flat feet. I'm pretty sure me not nursing is not the cause. Yay, one point- me!
Sorry, inside joke only I can laugh at.
SIGH.
What? K farted?! Well, it's a step in the right direction.
Sorry. All I have lately is poop and fart talk. I swear I've asked, "do you have to go poopoo?" about a trillion times in the last few days. It gets old. Ask K, she's clearly sick of the question and is just saying, "shut the Hello Kitty up!"
She'd never say that. Now I feel guilty for suggesting twice in a week that my 3 year old swears using stuffed cats as her 'go-to' word.
Is it vacation time? And by vacation I mean, is it time for mommy to fly off to a tropical island (preferably where they're filming LOST) and lay on the beach with a Mai Tai in each hand?!
Yes?!
Lovely! Bye now.

The poop thing is a killer. There is not one thing I can say about it that would make it better. Well, actually my Goose is getting better. She does not hold it as much anymore, now I got the boy taking over for her. UGH. My heart goes out to you.

All I am getting from my daughter is poop filled diapers. Runny poop filled diapers and sometime pants or jammies and a couple times I even got some poop filled carpet. Pre-motherhood I didn't realize how much I would talk and think about poop after I became a mom.

We're in the opposite situation here. I wish my son could stop pooping. He goes more (and bigger) than most adults!
Anyway, just wanted to say I love these little posts you do. They're great!

It took my oldest until he was 4 to poop in the toilet! I tried everything and I ended up giving up. When I went back to work after my youngest was born, he was 3 months, the boys stayed with my friend while I was in training and within 2 weeks she got him poop trained..want her #? I told her that if it wasnt for her then my oldest would be in a diaper to poop the rest of his life. Hopefully it goes better with Lucas

There isn't a meal at our house where poop doesn't become part of the conversation. Still.
I've resigned myself to hearing about poop for the rest of my life.

Hello Kitty, can now be heard in our house quite often. I loved that, post, it really made me chuckle. Tara likes "Shitzu", like the other day when she stubbed her toe on a can of spaghetti sauce on the floor. Don't ask me how it got THERE?
Wine, tropical island, SAWYER, Mai tais... can I come too!

You need a hug and a margarita!

I had a friend who's son held it for days on end. He was afraid to do it in the potty but if she put a diaper on him he would go. How can they hold it for that long? Ouch.
Hope she starts going for you soon.
Otherwise, just take that vacation. LOL

You know, they should make pooping lessons for kids and parents alike. Might make it easier for everyone involved.
