The Saturday Funny Pages

My Boy is watching Man vs. Wild on Discovery Channel....

Me: MB, doesn't it sound funny when he says 'GLAH see uhrs' for glaciers and 'VIT a min C' for vitamin c?
My Boy: (without missing a beat) That's because he's from Paris.

Hubby laughing at something in a magazine....

Me: What's so funny?
Hubby: Oh nothin', just this thing reminds me of my robot at work.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DQ: MOOOOOMMMMM!

Me: Yeah?

DQ: My Boy said the "I" word?

Me: What's the "I" word?

DQ: *whispers* impossible....oh and he said the "C" word too...can't. My dance teachers tell us those are BAD words!

Me: Okay, (to My Boy) apologize to your sister *wink*

LOL...recently my kids tattled that one of them said the S word. I'm thinking SH!t since I say it so frequently, and when investigated it was "stupid"

Too cute. My son came home from Kindergarten one day and announced that he knew the "three 'S' words." My heart was broken. What were they? "Stupid, Shut-up, and sucks." "That's rigth," I told him, "and I don't ever want to hear you using those words!" I love that age...

I think I've told you this before, but I really love your page; it's so pretty!
