Dr. Google Says I Have......

...about 15 different ailments.

I'm feeling physically 'off.' Something is going on and i'm hoping to see my doctor today to see if we can figure out what it is.

DO NOT, under any circumstances, spend countless hours google searching symptoms and problems! UGH. The outcome is stress, tension, stress, and fear.

I've felt 'off' for a few weeks but I ignored it. Then when I finally thought, maybe I should call the dr., it was 5pm on Friday and the office was closed.

Then of course because it's the weekend, my ailment seems to get worse, more uncomfortable, and I'm pondering the ER.

But, then I'm reminded of the Christmas Eve visit to the ER that left me without antibiotics for two days after because NO pharmacy in a 50 mile radius is open on Christmas day...AND you still got a $1000 bill. Plus the minimum wait is at least 4 hours.

Suffer through it.

Try to distract your mind.

For the love of all that is holy, STOP GOOGLING 'ovarian cysts,' 'kidney stones,' and 'fibroids!'

That's me giving myself a pep talk.

Hopefully i'll get into the gyn today.

Awww Hon---hoping you get some answers and peace of mind. I have to turn off the Dr. Google when my kids have a mystery affliction...the internet is a blessing, and a stressing.

I decided last time I had what turned out to be a sinus infection that it was a brain tumor. Weirdest sinus infection I ever had, and when I went to the doctor he didn't even seem convinced it was a sinus infection, in fact he asked a few questions that kinda indicated to me he was checking for a brain tumor. Hope you feel better soon, and I'm sure you're fine.

Never go to Dr Google! He diagnosed me with Lupus last year; I threatened to sue for malpractice. After a new search he said I was hungover ☺

Hope you feel right again soon!

I can't tell you the number of times I have diagnosed myself with brain tumors, cancer, inner ear infections that will cause my ear drums to explode, leaving me deaf. You are exactly right, googling is the worst thing you can do!

Hmmm...glad you're seeing someone today (I hope!). I always like to get a name attached to whatever is ailing me, and it's never as bad as I think it is. Let me know if you need anything.

Hey, I visited Dr google last week for hubby's testicles. Dr. Google was actually right in some ways but I am fearful of what Dr. Real Life is going to charge us after a visit to the Urgent Care and the ER!!!

On the plus side, none of those will kill you! At least, I don't think so. I've got a big ol' fibroid I lovingly call "Roy" and I'm still around!
