The Night of 3 Cabs
Being the cautious ladies we are, on one of our nights out we summoned cabs to drive us about the town.Plus we all had front-loaded with many a Corona and Coors Light, so we couldn't even find our car in the driveway.
Now we clearly explained to the cranky woman on the phone that there were 5 of us. She rattled on about a 500lb weight limit and we thought OH SURE, we're all a bunch of 12 year olds headed to a casino lounge!! WHAT?!
Well, a normal sized cab showed up and I was the
Cabs are a complete ripoff. It cost us $30 to get about 7 miles. Another $15 to go 2, and then on the way home we got some sort of deal at $25. Of course one cabbie told us that if we leave too late from the casinos all the drivers will be drunk too, so we hoped for an early-ish evening!
While waiting for our first round of berry cosmos at a lounge's happy hour, we ordered this. Don't ask me what's on there, but the little piles of mush all added up to like too much money and not enough food for an infant. I guess those paper triangles were okay, a little dry though.
I knew Vodka and beer wasn't going to like my stomach later on, but I trudged through some really horrific versions of cosmos, these were okay. But a dirty martini?? Yep, just that, dirty dishwater more like.
Here's H tempting the lemon drops. They reeked of bathroom cleaner so she tried them this way. Yep, still gross.
Luckily we had plenty of entertainment around us. A Relay for Life convention was going on and ladies from many states were all donning their lanyards and were mingling about. We found out their theme night was 80's and they were all dressed in Madonna-like outfits, legwarmers, big hair, and lacy gloves. They were cute. So were we. Me and H.

And, of course, the photo of the weekend. Miss Bloom neglected to read the spinny-door-thingy and proceeded to push her way into the resort. We laughed at this photo for 4 days! Ahh the memories!

Awww I cant wait for ladies weekend for my birthday, Vegas doesn't have a chance!! LOL
Oh and from your last blog, I am one of the fortunate laptop owners, and I'm shopping about for a new one, if I decide to sell mine, even though she is my first love and has a name, I'll let you know, it's loaded (and only a year old, and RAD!)and has Photoshop CS3 on it.

What a fun time. I really would love to get away with my girl friends, too. You have motivated me (not that I needed that much motivation!) The food and drinks looked terrible, which is too bad, 'cause that's what I love the most.

Are you KIDDING ME??? That was considered FOOD?! When I drink, I need my DRINKING FOOD! greasy chicken wings, salty fries, crunchy jalapeno poppers...you know, gross greasy bar food that would make you sick if you weren't drunk. :)
