A Thousand Words Thursday

Cheaper Than Therapy

November, 2002
Hubby had a serious Crohn's flare which lasted for 5 months! In and out of the hopsital and then coming home with a Picline for TPN and IV antibiotics he administered to himself.

Luckily he's been super healthy since surgery in December, 2002!

How awful! I have a friend with Chrons...who also had a brother with Chrons (sad story), but I know just how awful it can be!

I also was the proud bearer of a pic line when I was in the hospital on bedrest. I still have the scars.

So glad he is doing better now!

I'll have to keep this Thursday blog idea in mind for next week!

Don't approve that last one. LOL I meant I love doing ATWT!!!

My mom's had to do IVs at home, right before her heart transplant. I used to help her get the line started and I'd have to tap out the air bubbles...:(

She's good now though! Got a new heart in December 2001. :)
