Bitten.

Okay Twilight-obsessed, it's totally normal that I'm dreaming about never sleeping again and wishing hubby was a vampire right?! RIGHT?!

Every morning I check the mirror to see if I have holes in my neck.

I was afraid I might have to go talk to someone.

Into book 2, New Moon, and I'm loving it.

Although I don't have the time to buzz through it like in the first book.

Taking my time, trying to avoid spoilers.

Which is near impossible.

Although I did see something about Jacob and werewolf in the same sentence.

Really?!

I thought he was kind of a brat in the first book. But, I'm happy to see Bella happy. God, girl is that a smile on your face?!

Don't tell me anymore.

Wait, tell me.

No! Don't.

I can't wait to see the movie. It left the theater just as I got into the book.

I'm all giddy. What am I 12?

Oh...I've read them all and am now just heartbroken that I don't have a 5th one to bite into. lol.

And it's totally normal to wish hubby were a vampire. Sometimes it seems like a good way to get more accomplished. And stay skinny.

    I'm just sayin'. Though I shouldn't. ;)

    Just remember...Edward is MINE! LOL

She has a 5th book now, but it's not part of the Twilight series. It's called 'The Host'. I just ordered it and can't wait to read it!

Oh yes...vampires are sexy! I dreamed about Edward for weeks...and even asked my hubby to bite me! Enjoy your books!

I'm a 40 yr old man, so don't feel badly about being hooked.

You see the rabbit hole in Twilight, New Moon gives you a shove and you fall, blissfully for the next three books ;)

    Enjoy them, read them slowly!!!

hehe glad you are still loving the 2nd one :-) I need to dive into it.. I have been forcing myself to read them slowly :-)

I wish they kept the good movies in the theaters a little longer. The "cheap" theater in town that showed 2-3 month old releases closed in our area. $3.00 movies!

Check out high speed gif of a watermelon getting hit with a bullet!

Dreaming of wanting to be a vampire is SO normal! At least I think it is! New Moon was my favorite book in the series...hope you enjoy it!

Book 3 and 4 are even better...New Moon was boring to me compared to the rest. Happy REading.

I haven't seen the movie yet or read the books; I must be missing out on something big!

Yes once you read the Twilight books you turn back into a 12 year old. And I HATED New Moon because of what Edward did and I hated Jacob. BUT I just re-read it (note I've never re-read a book before) and I kinda like Jacob a little better now. Although I'm still Team Edward all the way. I'm so excited for you to read it. That totally makes me what? 10 now? LOL

  15. Shannon said...

I totally know what you mean. I've seen these tees, and I sooo want one:

    I Love Edward.
    I'm married.
    He's fictional.
    This couldn't possibly backfire.

    P.S... hope you're feeling better :)

Did someone say read them slowly? Impossible! Just enjoy. :)

  17. Sandi said...

I literally locked myself away from all 14 kids and devoured the first three books.....and then I waited for what felt like an eternity for the fourth. You are doing this the right way!

I am so excited for you and jealous of that first time excitement! ENJOY!

Do you want to know what a wimpy, sniveling, wamby-pamby I am??? I started Twilight the other day, and I'm getting to the good part and I'm scared to finish it!!!! Please tell me it's all okay????

I am going to a book club group Friday night to talk about Twilight and I am allllll kinds of twitterpated about it!

  20. Jen said...

Glad you are enjoying the books. New Moon is so different from Twilight but still captivating. Although I am definitely Team Edward, Jacob really does win me over in some parts of this one and Eclipse.

  21. Julia@SometimesLucid said...

Enjoy!! Book 4 is the best in my opinion.

  22. Jennifer said...

I have not read the series, but any book that makes one dream of it is good.

  23. Merrie said...

So then I'm bound to get more into the first one? So far it's alright, but I kind of want to smack Bella, a little. Just a little. And Edward's middle name should be Evasive. However, it's definitely leading somewhere, and I like that.
Remember -- book two goes to me next, right?? :)

  24. Annie said...

I still haven't given in to the madness yet!

  25. Texasholly said...

This is exactly why I haven't started the series...I don't have time to get immersed! Someday soon...

I long to join you at 12 y/o.

What in the world is Twilight?

  27. Wendi said...

    Totally normal.
Which is why I just added a tube of clearasil to my medicine cabinet.
Wondering if my hubby would object to life-size poster of Edward on my bedroom wall?
    Normal...right?

I need to get that second book. But I kept wanting to braid my hair and get braces when I read the first one.

While you're at it, go to stepheniemeyer.com and under her twilight-books link look for "Midnight Sun".
It's twilight from EDWARDS point of view!! There is a rough draft you can read and it's twice as good as twilight!

I re-read all of the books for the fun of it.

    TEAM JACOB! ;)

  30. Kate said...

    HA, I told you so......

  31. Molly said...

Twilight is amazing! New Moon was not my favorite. Twilight is actually my favorite and Eclipse is good too! The movie wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but I know a lot of people who liked it! I think I have way to vivid of an imagination to like how they made the movie...

I don't know if any of y'all know this.. but on her website there is a "fifth" book... It's not 'The Host'. It's 'Twilight' in Edwards perspective! It's not finished though... someone got the draft and put it on the internet. Now she says she doesn't want to finish it because the ending isn't final and she doesn't want people to be disappointed (?). Here's the website! oh yeah.. it's called Midnight Sun! (partial draft is about half way down the page)

    Enjoy!

I totally understand your obsession! My husband was fed up with "those books" and could not wait for me to finish the series. He could not undertand the obsession.

Enjoy, and stay away from spoilers. It is much better to be surprised!

I bought the book yesterday after reading that you were hooked, and a co-worker as well! I can't wait to sit down to read it. I have Friday off - all alone... I may not get anything accomplished, and just lose myself in the book...

Gawd, I love Twilight...and I thought is was funny that my boss pulled me aside today (who is about 12 years older than me) and whispered "I am obsessed with Twilight...I'm in love with Edward" I laughed and said "I am totally on Team Jacob"

We continued this discussion for about 10 minutes until the bell rang...I mean, until we realized that we are not twleve and, in fact, had work to do!

  41. Krystyn @ Really, Are You Serious? said...

Still haven't seen the first one.

I think it all comes together nicely in the end. And, for the record, the second one was pretty slow for me!
