I'm Not SAD Yet.
The sun has been hiding the past few days. This means fall is here and the weather is changing.
This also means it's grab a blanket and cuddle on the couch with a book or movie kind of days.
I've completed a book already this month and working on my second (Julie & Julia by Julie Powell-We saw the movie, but the book is really different, better in that way that books always are.).
But, it feels nice to put a sweatshirt on and knee-high socks (yeah, so!) and feel the cool fall air on your face as you walk outside.
It's a change, a nice one.
But, in no time I'll be back to whining how the sun hasn't been out for 30 days straight and I'm getting affected by SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder).
That's how I roll.
But, right now I'm relishing in the ever-changing colors of the trees, the smell of rain on the sidewalk, and the dark mornings where our double-layer of comforters entices me to stay in bed all day.
And, it's almost time to "Fall Back" too, an extra hour of sleep hooray!
Oh, and the big bags of Halloween chocolate at the stores.
Bulking up for the winter.
Do you fall for Fall?

Love FALL! Love everything about fall, even the cloudy rainy days of fall. I love being able to wear sweatshirts and sweat pants to relax around the house. I love pumpkin coffee, pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin patches, shall I go on?

I do love fall but I get depressed in the winter. A friend of mine also has SAD and she has a "happy light" to help her get through the winter!

I like the acronym. I don't think knee-high socks are bad (unless you are wearing them with shorts).
Sometime around February my wife and I like to get away from the Grey Snow and go to the conservatory to see some Green. Keep that in mind if you get too SAD.

I am "crazy" about fall. I love it. Love everything about it. I love wearing sweaters, jeans, and boots. The feel and smell of the crisp air on my face, dark mornings, and everything else that goes with it...
I am fortunate where I live in Southern Alberta we get just as much sunshine during the cold months as we do during the summer...

I grew up in New England and had SAD real bad...now I live where the sun shines 355 days a year and sometimes [ sigh ] still get sad.

I am LOVING the Fall weather. I think about January is when I will be affected by SAD. I love being all bundled up right now :)

Honestly I LOVE all the seasons and am so thankful I live somewhere where we do get four seasons.

I love fall. LOVE it. Unfortunately Colorado seems to give me a couple of weeks of fall and then we jump right into cold wintry days.

The fall is by far my favorite season! I love the colors and food and celebrations. However i agree that after awhile it can take its toll.

I love fall! The colors especially. Jan and Feb here are so dreary I can't stand it. Fall is beautiful! I am thankful I live in a place with a short winter. My mom lives in Chicago and suffers with SAD. I can imagine a 6S month winter!

I'm a total fall fanatic, even though I live in the relatively mild climate of Northern California. (Hey, "relatively" because when you've been here long enough it's freakin' cold. Bite me.)

What I would GIVE for a little bit of fall... the leaves changing, the cooler weather, a bit of rain.
I miss it... so much!
