Our Spring in Instagram Photos

It's been almost a month since I last posted.

That's gotta be a record.

I'm usually busy over at The Mom Reviews.

But, mostly with life.

This little guy, our newest nephew at almost 4 months...
has been struggling with bacterial meningitis.  In Lucille Packard children's hospital he's had a roller coaster ride for nearly 2 weeks, but is improving daily.  Really puts life into perspective!

Spring has sprung, allergies are flaring, and we're waiting for some warm weather, winter seems to be joining us after forgetting what month it was.
Yeah, this guy is now 11 and has gotten a proper haircut!  ;)
This girl is mid-dance competition season, doing really well and is now all signed up for classes in HIGH SCHOOL for the fall. *faint*
This girl keeps us all on our toes, is READING everything she sets her eyes on and is just growing up plain too fast!
This is where you can find us about 3-4 days a week this spring!  My Boy has moved up to the Majors in little league and is facing faster pitching and tougher teams.  Go Angels!
 Snapping photos whenever I can and seeing the beauty that surrounds me.

Still having fun at theme parks and enjoying the world through the eyes of a child.
Constantly missing the islands as they have impacted my heart and my life so much.  Hubs and I seriously talk about moving there.  We have the fever, island fever.

The One Where I Marry My Phone and Instagr.am is the Maid of Honor

So I've been addicted to my iPhone.

It doesn't leave my side.

It has it's own blankie.

I treat it like it's a egg in my pocket.

Like a newborn.

One without dirty diapers or colic.

Yeah, disturbing, I know.

Plus i'm addicted to Instagram.

It's like Photoshop, but funner.

It's social media meets photography, meets daily life, meets, blogging, meets Godzilla.

Or something like that.

And it's for iThings (Touch, Phone, Pad....)

I love taking pictures, I love photo editing, and I love my phone, which can do it all.

*give me a moment while I marry my phone*

Some of the fun I've been having:

Puffy white cotton.

Daddy/daughter pedicure time.
Pitching practice.  Alternatively titled, "man that field has a lot of trash on it!"
But dad, I'm tired and hungry and want all your attention and I don't know why i'm crying but WAHHH.

On that boob.  I mean note.  I'm out.

Fade to Fog: A Photo Story

I hate to say I sorta miss the deep-fry temps of Palm Springs right now as I sit watching Food Network in my robe, flannel jams, and slippers!  It's damn cold.

Plus the wind we get around 3pm every afternoon has creeped up to visiting at noon and you may as well take the parka out of your vacuum-packed storage.

What's the smartest thing to do?  Go north.  Up the coast. Sure it's not warmer, but it's pretty.  And there's blue skies.


But, off in the distance...fog.

Creeping in, ever so slowly.


And, in a matter of...


...miles...


...the fog wanted to...


...swallow us whole.

And it did.

But, oh how gorgeous the coast is even in it's greydom.


Then staying here...

...and enjoying this the next morning...


...makes it all worth it. Fog and all.

Lemonade? Lemon Drop? Limoncello?

This is a flippin' ginormous lemon from my friend's tree.

It's bigger than K's head.

What shall I do with it?


When a friend gives you freakishly large lemons....make....?

I took a ton of photos that I had to play with in photoshop, you know to mix it up a bit.


























Oh and come on, it's baseball season, a little Wrigley doesn't hurt.


Nor does the Garrett Popcorn, Chicago Mix. *drool*
