A Thousand Words Thursday

Cheaper Than Therapy

Hah..funny story.

My girlfriends and I do an annual Christmas shopping trip in early December. While strolling the mall we came across A&F and decided to walk in.

This strapping young lad was standing in the front foyer of the store begging us to take a picture with him asking for donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

If we made a mere $1 donation, we'd get to take and mail out as our Family Christmas photo one photo with him! Since there was 3 of us, we forked out $50 $3 to each have a lovely keepsake for our scrapbooks.

Not sure our husbands were thrilled, but it was for a good cause! You know you'd do it too!

That's really funny! I could do without the underwear showing...why has that become such a trend???
LOVE this blog idea...we have so many pictures that bring back such vivid memories for us. I posted one today that when I look at it, I can hear all the sounds and smell all the smells of the NICU.
    Have a great Thursday!

love that, I remember when they had those hunky male models outside of the store, funny thing is my grandma saw me wearing a A&F shirt one time and told me what a nice store it is I don't think she realizes what it is today as shehasn't been in a mall in yrs.

I LOVE your photo choice this week. I have to admit, I would be pretty happy to get a pic like that. The hubster would be veeeeeeeery jealous and would probably throw a toddler tantrum but I would still glow. :)
Thanks for letting me live vicariously through your pic. ;) Happy TWT!
