Ugh, I Did NOT Just Eat That Today!

Meal planning is not my strong suit.

I ate like crap this week and I have been paying ever since.

That off day and all, well I had no desire to go anywhere let alone the grocery store.

For breakfast I had a handful of Life cereal.

Literally reached into the box and pulled out some to snack on.

Oh and about a gallon of coffee.

Yes, this is where you say, no wonder your stomach is all jacked up!

Lunch...hmm..did I eat lunch?

Oh yeah, Bagel Bites.

Around 6pm I felt like crawling in a hole.

Still not wanting to go to the store, I made what any normal poor, starving, college student mother of 3 would...TOP RAMEN.

DQ liked it.

I never feel good after eating that.

Not sure why I subject myself to the pain.

Late night snack...orange juice.

Oh someone please throw me a vegetable, alfalfa sprouts, a radish, something to cleanse my body of this filth.

Bleh.

Yeah, I don't plan meals well either. But Bagel Bites? Those are deadly.

We're pretty much loving the fresh squash, spinache and lettuce from our garden, and I definitely don't feel yucky after eating all of that healthy stuff! It's only after the box of Little League candy bars that I'm not feeling so good :-(

I do hate that. Eating like crap then suffering for it later!

Oh no! I feel your pain, because I've done that, too!! yesterday for lunch my kids had Ramen, and dinner was peanut butter and honey sandwiches. I had left overs that they didn't care for. I was feeling a little guilty when I took them to the babysitters after dinner and he asked if they had eaten yet. I said yes, and they all said, "But we're still hungry!"

lol, Yep I'd feel like crap if I ate all that too! I left you something on my blog :)

I have to admit my eating has been terrible this week to. Today it was about 11:30am and I realized I had not had breakfast at all. I am not paying attention to feeding my body and I am having too much sugar!

Bagel bites! I haven't had those since high school LOL They R good...and way too convenient. Convenience foods had me cornered once I became a mama and now, I just won't buy them! Because of our son's food allergies (now drastically better from taking Vidazorb kids probiotic) our family completely changed our way of life including our eating habits. I buy probably 40 % of our groceries in the fruits and veg section :) Don't get wrong...I still slack...with the visits to Taco Bell...mint choc chip icecrm...I think it just has to happen sometimes. My stomach forgets how to properly digest these processed foods though too and OUCH. Try a probiotic, seriouosly.

Yuck! Last night I ordered pizza. I couldn't muster the effort to cook after taking the kids swimming.

I am the same way. Even down to the Ramen. Only I make my ramen with just a little water, mix in an egg, and it's almost like fried noodles. Tastes so much better, but still not any better for you! ;)

Maybe next week we'll both do better. That is, if I get the energy to go to the grocery store.

I ate peanut butter and jelly for lunch and dinner because the store just didn't sound like fun.

We have days like that around here, too. Just as long as it's ONE day, not 6 out of 7 days a week! :)

Haha you're eating like us broke college students do! ;) We live off that stuff!

I have days like those too. I have been neglecting my veggies quite a bit recently while we were on vacation. I'm working on a grocery list now and can't wait to buy some fresh veggies and fruit!

This is how my eating habits have been lately, too. I know I feel better when I eat better, but laziness and lack of willpower always get the best of me!

I think the key to eating right is planning...that's the trouble; I never take the time to plan meals or shop for the right snack foods!

We are on the same page sister. Even when I plan meals, they are never all that healthy considering the house full of males I live with. Meat & potatoes. A girl can only handle so much. Some days I live on handfuls of cereal and pots of coffee as well. :(

    OJ before bed?

Giiiiirrrrlllll...that spells all sorts of trouble for heartburn and stomach acid!

This, from the girl who ate a pizza hot pocket at 3am. But I learned my lesson...from the toilet seat.

I don't like going to the market either, and when I do, I overspend! I have been trying to cook and eat healthier since we moved, sure I had lost some weight.... nope, nada, not 1 lb. Makes me wonder if it is all worth it. I do hate that icky, I've eaten too much crap feeling though, when you body is just crying for some broccoli and brussel sprouts!

We all have days like this. I always feel the need for a big ole salad after too! HA!

How were you not starving to death? Everything you ate would normally be eaten by me as a snack!
