You, You, You Outta Know

I was tagged by Jen and Michelle both, so here are ten random facts about me.

1. I was hit by a car at age 2 and was in a body cast for 6 weeks with a broken femur and collar bone, amongst other head trauma. People always go, "oh...that's what happened." when I tell them. Ha ha very funny.

2. My shoe size used to 7.5 prior to babies, now it's an 8. Something about growing feet is freaky to me, anyone else?

3. I lived on chips and salsa in college. My fave mexican restaurant is still in my college town and we often visit JUST to eat there.

4. I LOVE suprises, but HATE suprise visitors. More often than not, the house is thrashed and I can't concentrate on conversations had because I start picking up around company. Then I regret ever opening the door. Please call first.

5. I switch my living room furniture around all the time, I love getting a 'new look' every once in a while and it also helps hide the hideous carpet.

6. I LOVE Hubby's deep laughs when he's cracking up. He's usually so even keel, it's refreshing and usually makes me laugh too. Turn on an episode of Flight of the Conchords and he's hysterical!

7. I can't sleep with the sliding glass door in our room open.

8. Christmas songs cannot be played too early or I go apeshit. Mid-November and later is okay, but before that is CAHRAY-ZEE!

9. I quote lines from the movie Elf more than necessary.

10. I'm still working on a scarf for DQ that I started last September.

I'll tag Vicky and Half-Past Kissin' Time. Can't wait to read yours!

A body cast at 2 years old?! Holy cow, I can't even imagine.
My mom's feet grew 1/2 a size with every pregnancy. She had 5 kids. she has big feet. Ha.
I love to rearrange furniture too, but my husband can't stand it and goes nuts. So I have to live with the exact same arrangement forever. I have a hard life.

My feet got smaller after kids- the only thing- go figure! Freakish 5.5 now -used to be a 7- try finding shoes- it's not easy!

I started a scarf 2 years ago- it was my first and as I did it, it kept getting wider and wider. So now I've been working 2 years on a shawl- anyone still wear those?

I started a cross-stitch birth announcement thing to put in my youngest son's nursery before he was born. That was 4 years ago and it's still not finished!

I second, third, and fourth the Christmas music. It might also help Halloween and Thanksgiving out if they didn't start selling Christmas stuff while it is still warm outside AND before those days were actually over :)

I hate surprise visitors, too. Especially if it's my parents, whose floors are clean enough to eat off of. Argh.

Supposedly your EARS keep growing too. (I think it's gravity.) You're right -- creepy.

And there's NO WAY I'd sleep with the sliding glass door open. NO WAY.

Glad to know more about you! (Hit by a car at 2?!? That breaks my heart :( )

Wow. I was hit by a car at age two as well. My left leg got a greenstick fracture and my left eyebrow was sliced open to the bone. I lost a lot of blood and there was a fear of brain damage as well as fear that I would not walk properly. I get the "oh that's what happened" comment all the time too. Yeah. Ha ha very funny. I'm sure my mom thought it was a laugh riot.
