A Thousand Words Thursday

June, 2000 Is this a redneck entertainment center or what!? We never used our fireplace for a real fire with wood and all. Plus we didn't have more than a little end table for our TV...ouila! The fireplace was as good place as any right?! Can't remember how long we kept the TV in there, but we now have a proper home for the boob tube...and the bricks have a wood-burning stove insert within it (that we still use maybe once every other year). We're so grown up now!

I think that looks pretty neat! We don't use ours either. Why would we need to in So Cal? I have my couch pushed up against mine.

LOL - it fit great. You could have put a little molding around the edges and it would have looked like a built in unit :)

Too cute... Steve and Blue, that in itself brings back memories of a simpler time (a toddler opposed to a TWEEN!)

That was a great use of unused space!

Hee hee! Our fireplace here in central TX has never been used. I wonder what Man O Mine would say if I put the tv in it?

my sister has done the same :) I think it is great place for a tv, especially in older homes where the fireplace used to be the center of the home before the tv was invented :)

do you move it Christmas EVE?

Corrine, it's out of there now, replaced by a wood burning stove that Santa crawls through. :')
