I Need a Little Aloha

It was one of those days.

Craving a glass of wine, I started to daydream.

Of a time when we headed to Hawaii.

Nearly 3 years ago, yet fresh in my mind.

The hibiscus flowers.

The incredible colors of the warm ocean.

The lush island of Kauai.

The laid-back feeling you get when you're there.

The Mai-Tais on the sunset cruise.

Ahh.

The beauty of it all.

I began following Hawaii-related sites on Twitter.

Just to feel like I was there.

They'd tweet pictures.

They'd tweet events.

I imagined I was just down the road, on my way to the next luau.

Ahh.

I'm clearly delirious right?

Still hungover from my IV treat yesterday?

Probably not.

Just dreaming of a tropical paradise.

Of being fanned by a palm frond.

And, being so relaxed I could nap carelessly.

Ahh.
